Choosing Nylatech® Food Grade Blue

Choose Nylatech® Food Grade Blue for Natural-grade properties in blue. Compare Nylatech® Natural without the blue colour or Nylatech® Natural-Oil for internal lubrication. Nylatech® Blue colour does not make this grade metal- or X-ray-detectable.

Rod provides a solid starting shape for turned rollers, pins and similar parts. For a large through-bore, compare tube stock to reduce centre material removal.

Allow for machining: dimensions are nominal stock sizes, not finished-part tolerances. Nylon absorbs moisture; consider dimensional change, temperature, chemicals and operating loads when specifying close-fitting parts.

Food contact: Nylatech® Food Grade Blue uses the food-grade Nylatech® Natural formulation. The manufacturer reports Nylatech® Natural and Nylatech® Natural-Oil meet 21 CFR 177.1500. Confirm the supplied grade’s declaration for your food-contact conditions; this does not certify the finished part.
