Product information

Nylatech® Super Black Cast Nylon 6 Rod. Black, heat- and UV-stabilized cast PA6 with heat-stabilized Nylatech® Blue properties.

Select diameter and footage

Sold per linear foot (LFT): quantity 1 = 1' of material. Choose a 3" to 14" diameter. The price is per foot, not per four-foot bar.

For cut lengths, specify each piece’s length and the number of pieces; total footage alone does not define the cuts.

Choosing Nylatech® Super Black

Consider Nylatech® Super Black when black colour and heat/UV stabilization are required. Compare Nylatech® Blue when UV stabilization is not required, or Nylatech® Natural for general service.

Rod provides a solid starting shape for turned rollers, pins and similar parts. For a large through-bore, compare tube stock to reduce centre material removal.

Allow for machining: dimensions are nominal stock sizes, not finished-part tolerances. Nylon absorbs moisture; consider dimensional change, temperature, chemicals and operating loads when specifying close-fitting parts.
