Rust-Oleum® Chalkboard brush paint converts surfaces into a usable chalkboard. Apply to metal, wood, masonry, drywall, plaster, glass, concrete, unglazed ceramics and hardboard. Erases cleanly. 

  • Painted chalkboards are for indoor use only.
  • Chalkboard painted surfaces can be cleaned with soap and water.

For Best Results

  • Apply Chalkboard brush paint with a foam roller but avoid excessive rolling.
  • Before using chalkboard spray paint on an immobile surface, like a wall, make sure to adequately vent the room for the recommended cure time and protect areas from over spray.
  • Once the paint has cured, prepare the surface for chalk by rubbing side of chalk over entire surface and erasing.
  • Do not use an abrasive sponge to clean the chalkboard surface.
