Fit the tank to the application
Tank fitting requests can include an inlet, outlet, drain, vent or other port on a compatible tank. The tank material, wall shape, access and proposed fitting location affect whether a modification is practical.
For an RV, boat, food truck or stationary storage installation, explain the available space, supports, clearances and how the tank will be used. Marine installations have their own access, mounting and operating conditions; an RV layout should not be assumed suitable for a boat.
Tank and fitting details to send
- Tank manufacturer or model, material, dimensions and capacity, with photos of the proposed work area.
- The exact stored liquid, concentration where relevant, temperature and operating conditions, including venting and any pressure or vacuum requirements.
- Each fitting size, thread type, connection, seal or gasket requirement and intended function.
- A placement drawing with dimensions, orientation and clearances, plus quantity and the required date.

Compatibility and design limits
The team must review chemical compatibility of the tank, fitting and seal against the exact liquid and conditions. A general plastic or water-tank description is not evidence of suitability for every chemical or for potable-water use.
Pressure, vacuum, fuel service, structural support and any regulated or potable-water requirement need specific review and supporting specifications. Baffling is a design consideration based on the tank and use; we do not assume it is unnecessary simply because the tank is small.
Assessment before modification
We confirm the available shop capability, modification method and scope before accepting the job. Provide your city and postal code for the location review and arrange a physical tank assessment before bringing or shipping a tank.
For an existing damaged tank, use plastic welding and repair assessment. The reviewed quote confirms fittings, work scope, timing and logistics; it does not provide an engineering approval or a blanket certification.

Can you add a fitting to any tank?
No. Material, wall shape, access, condition and application affect feasibility. Send the tank details and proposed fitting location for assessment.
Can you confirm potable-water or chemical suitability from a photo?
No. Exact tank, fitting and seal specifications and the operating conditions must be reviewed. Any required certification needs supporting documentation.
Does my tank need baffles?
That depends on the design and use. Describe the installation and operating conditions so the requirement can be assessed; tank size alone is not sufficient.
