CNC Router Cutting for Plastic Parts

What we can help you make
Router cutting is a practical starting point for shaped panels, equipment covers, display components and repeat parts cut from plastic stock. The router uses a cutting tool; it is a different process from acrylic laser cutting.
Acrylic and polycarbonate are common starting materials. Other plastic grades require a review of the material, cutter, holding method and intended use. We confirm the process before accepting the job.
Prepare your drawing
- Send a dimensioned PDF for review and a DXF or other vector file if you have one. Include the units and scale.
- Specify the material grade, thickness, overall size, quantity and any holes, pockets or cutouts.
- Identify critical dimensions, tolerances and the edge finish you need. Inside corners may need a tool radius.
- Tell us whether you need one prototype, repeat parts or revisions to an existing design.
A sketch is useful for an initial conversation. Drafting assistance can help prepare a fabrication drawing; it does not replace engineering design or approval.
Material, tolerance and timing review
We review stock availability, cutting layout and machining requirements together. CNC tolerances are agreed for the individual drawing and job; our standard straight saw-cut allowance is not a CNC accuracy specification. Production timing is confirmed after the file and material review.

A dimensioned drawing is the best starting point. Send a sketch or reference photos if you need help describing the part; we will identify what is needed before fabrication.

The quote confirms the tolerances, material, scope and timing for your drawing. Include your required date and any critical dimensions in the request.
Can every location route my part?
CNC routing is a confirmed Victoria capability. Other corporate shops can review an inquiry, but the production location and logistics must be confirmed for your project.
