Terms of service
Effective date: [July 6th, 2022]
Last updated: [July 6th, 2026]
Welcome
Thanks for choosing GoIndustrial.com™ by Industrial Plastics & Paints™. We supply practical products and services for projects ranging from home, shop, and classroom work to commercial and industrial operations. These Terms explain the ground rules for using our website and buying from us online, in a store, by telephone, or by email.
GoIndustrial.com™ and Industrial Plastics & Paints™ are operating brands used within The Redco Group Ltd. group. For a purchase, the seller is the Redco Group company identified on your quote, order confirmation, invoice, or receipt. In these Terms, “GoIndustrial.com™,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean that seller and, for website matters, the Redco Group company operating the website. Our head-office contact is listed at the end.
Important: These Terms do not take away consumer rights that cannot legally be waived. If mandatory law where you live gives you greater protection, that law applies.
Key Points
- An order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we expressly accept it, begin custom work, make the goods available for pickup, or ship them—not merely when an automated acknowledgment is sent.
- We confirm the total price and any mandatory charges before accepting a completed consumer order. We will not add an unexplained price increase afterward without your consent.
- Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly promise a guaranteed date. If a consumer order is delayed, statutory cancellation and refund rights still apply.
- Custom, cut, fabricated, mixed, tinted, special-order, hazardous, food-grade and certain opened goods may not be returnable when correctly supplied. Defective, incorrect, or materially nonconforming goods remain subject to these Terms and mandatory rights.
- Product and project guidance is practical assistance, not engineering or other regulated professional advice. You are responsible for confirming suitability, measurements, compatibility, installation, and code requirements.
- Some products require special training, protective equipment, ventilation, storage, transport, or disposal. Follow the label, Safety Data Sheet (“SDS”), Technical Data Sheet (“TDS”), manufacturer instructions, and applicable law.
- Business purchases may also be governed by our B2B Commercial Terms, an accepted quote, or a signed agreement. The order of priority is explained below.
This summary helps with navigation. The complete Terms below control.
1. When These Terms Apply
These Terms apply when you:
- visit or use GoIndustrial.com, a related GoIndustrial.com™ page, account, tool, calculator, or other online service;
- buy or order products or services from us online, in store, by telephone, or by email;
- arrange store pickup, local delivery, parcel shipment, freight, or supplier-direct shipment; or
- create or use a customer account.
You accept these Terms by clicking an acceptance box or button, signing or electronically approving a quote or drawing, placing an order, making a payment or taking another affirmative step that clearly indicates acceptance.
If you buy for a business, government body, institution, trade, resale operation, or industrial project, accepting our B2B Commercial Terms and Conditions of Sale & Use is a condition of opening and maintaining a GoIndustrial B2B Wholesale account. By submitting a B2B account or credit application, or placing an order through the account after the B2B Terms have been provided or linked, you confirm that you have authority to act for the account holder and agree that the B2B Terms govern purchases made through that account.
The B2B Terms may also apply when you buy for a business, government body, institution, trade, resale operation, or industrial project without a B2B Wholesale account, provided they are given or linked to you before we accept the order.
If the documents conflict, the following order applies: (1) a negotiated agreement signed by both parties; (2) an accepted quote, statement of work, drawing approval, or project-specific agreement; (3) the B2B Terms; (4) these Terms; and (5) our applicable published policies. A document controls only the subject it addresses.
2. Accounts, Security and Communications
Give us accurate, current information and update it when it changes. Keep account credentials secure and limit access to authorized users. Tell us promptly at solutions@goindustrial.com if you suspect unauthorized access or an incorrect order.
You are responsible for activity by people you authorize. We may verify an order, payment method, identity, shipping address, tax status, or authority to buy. We may reasonably delay, refuse, limit, or cancel an order or suspend an account to address fraud, sanctions, safety, credit, inventory, legal, or security concerns. If we cancel an accepted prepaid order without supplying it, we will refund the amount paid unless lawfully applied to completed custom work or committed non-cancellable costs disclosed to you.
We may contact you about your account, quote, order, delivery, payment, warranty, recall, product safety, service request, changes to terms or policies, or another matter connected with a transaction or ongoing business relationship. These service and transactional messages are different from marketing. Where law permits, we may send them even if you have opted out of marketing because they may be needed to serve you, protect your account, fulfill a transaction, or meet a legal obligation.
For promotional email, text, or other commercial electronic messages, we contact you only as permitted by applicable law. This may be based on your express consent, an existing business relationship, or another lawful basis.
Our policy is simple: we do not spam. We identify ourselves, use honest sender information and subject lines, provide a clear unsubscribe method where required, and respect your communication choices. You may opt out of promotional messages at any time. We will process your request promptly and within the time required by law. Opting out of marketing does not stop messages you request or service, transaction, account-security, safety, recall, warranty, or legal notices that we are allowed or required to send.
3. Website Use
You may use our website for lawful personal or business purchasing and project research. You must not:
- break the law, misrepresent your identity or authority, or facilitate fraud;
- introduce malware, probe or interfere with security, overload systems, or bypass access controls;
- scrape, harvest, copy, or use website content or data at a scale or in a way that unreasonably burdens our systems or infringes rights;
- use automated purchasing tools without permission;
- misuse reviews, product information, pricing, promotions, accounts, or customer-service channels; or
- infringe our rights or anyone else’s rights.
We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect customers, systems, rights, or legal compliance. The website may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, failures, third-party service interruptions, or events outside our reasonable control. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access.
Unless stated otherwise, website content—including text, graphics, photographs, videos, logos, catalogues, compilations, and software—is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Some product descriptions, images, specifications, manuals, catalogues, trademarks, logos, and other materials belong to manufacturers, suppliers, licensors, or other third parties and are displayed with permission or as otherwise permitted by law.
Third-party brand names, product names, trade names, trademarks, logos, and other identifiers are used to identify or describe genuine products and services. They remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance on our website does not by itself mean that the owner sponsors, endorses, or is affiliated with us, except where we expressly state that relationship.
You may view, download, or print reasonable copies of website content for personal or internal business purposes connected with evaluating, purchasing, installing, or using products, provided you keep any ownership and attribution notices. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, license, modify, use another party’s marks as your own, or create derivative works from website content. No other Licence is granted.
4. Product Information and Practical Guidance
We work to keep descriptions, prices, inventory, images, specifications, SDSs, TDSs, and lead times accurate. Online colours and finishes can vary by screen. Dimensions, thickness, weight, finish, colour, batch, yield, coverage, and manufacturing details may vary within published or accepted tolerances. Inventory and lead-time information can change before we accept an order.
Calculators, articles, videos, demonstrations, estimates, and staff suggestions are general practical assistance. Unless we expressly agree in a signed professional-services agreement, they are not engineering, architectural, structural, legal, medical, environmental, occupational-health, or other regulated professional advice. We do not control your complete design, site conditions, substrate, mixing, installation, equipment, process, or end use.
Before ordering or using a product, check the current label, specifications, SDS, TDS, manufacturer instructions, dimensions, quantity, compatibility, code requirements, approvals, and suitability for your intended use. Use a qualified professional where the project requires one. Tell us about unusual, safety-critical, regulated, food-contact, potable-water, structural, life-safety, marine, transportation, or other specialized requirements before ordering. Our staff assistance does not guarantee a result or excuse an inaccurate representation we make.
5. Orders and Acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. An automated email or screen confirming that we received it is not acceptance. We accept an order when we send an express acceptance or shipment/pickup confirmation, begin custom or special-order work with your authorization, or otherwise clearly confirm acceptance.
Before acceptance, we may correct an obvious error, verify information, apply quantity or destination limits, or decline an order. If a price or product description is obviously wrong, we will explain the issue and ask whether you want to proceed at the correct price; otherwise, we will cancel and refund any payment. We will not substitute a materially different product without your approval.
We may accept or reject part of an order. Each accepted shipment or service phase may be treated as a separate transaction if this is clear in the order documents. Goods remain subject to availability and lawful shipping restrictions.
6. Prices, Taxes, Payment, Promotions, and Gift Cards
Prices are shown in the currency identified at checkout, on the quote, or at the store. Applicable taxes, delivery, freight, brokerage, duties, environmental or stewardship fees, deposits, and other mandatory charges will be disclosed as required before we accept a consumer order. For cross-border orders, a carrier or government may collect import charges that we clearly identify as excluded from our price.
We may change advertised prices prospectively. A change does not alter an accepted consumer order unless you request a change or expressly agree after receiving clear information and a lawful right to decline. Estimates and adjustable B2B quotations are governed by their written terms and the B2B Terms.
Payment is due as shown at checkout or in the order documents. You authorize us and our payment providers to process the amount disclosed. If payment fails, we may suspend fulfillment and ask for another method. Do not initiate an improper chargeback for a valid charge; contact us first so we can investigate. Nothing here limits a lawful chargeback right.
Promotions, coupons, rebates, bulk pricing, and gift cards are subject to the terms presented with them and applicable law. Unless stated otherwise, discounts cannot be combined and have no cash value.
7. Custom Work and Special Orders
Custom work includes cut-to-size material, CNC routing, laser cutting, bending, forming, bonding, welding, assembly, 3D printing, tank fitting, signs, fabricated components, modified goods, tinted or mixed products, and supplier special orders.
Your accepted quote, drawing, proof, sample, template, CAD file, written specifications, and change orders define the work. Review them carefully. You are responsible for customer-supplied measurements, designs, approvals, files, samples, materials, and intended-use requirements. We are responsible for performing the accepted work with reasonable care and substantially in accordance with the accepted written specifications, subject to stated tolerances and normal manufacturing variation.
Fabrication can involve reasonable kerf, tool marks, edge conditions, colour or batch variation, and industry-standard dimensional or surface tolerances. We will identify material tolerances where they matter to the job. A prototype or first article is not approved for production until you affirmatively approve it. We will obtain approval for a material change to the accepted specifications.
Custom and special-order work may require a deposit or progress payments. Once procurement or work begins, cancellation may be unavailable or may require payment for work performed, materials committed, supplier charges, and reasonable handling or disposal costs disclosed in the quote. Properly completed custom work is non-returnable.
Customer-supplied materials can react, crack, warp, fail, contain hidden defects during handling or fabrication, or otherwise be unsuitable for the work requested. We will use reasonable care, but, you bear all risk inherent in those materials. We will tell you about a known material problem before continuing when reasonably possible. We are not responsible for customer-supplied materials.
8. Pickup, Shipping, Delivery, and Risk
Available methods, costs, and restrictions depend on the product and destination. Some hazardous, flammable, oversized, heavy, fragile, or supplier-direct goods cannot use ordinary parcel service or may require a separate freight approval. We may contact you before acceptance to confirm a lawful and suitable method.
Delivery dates are good-faith estimates unless we expressly agree in writing to a guaranteed date. Do not schedule labour or irreversible work until the goods have arrived and you have inspected them. If we cannot ship within the time promised—or, for a U.S. internet or telephone order, within the period required by applicable law—we will provide the required delay notice and option to consent, cancel, or receive a refund.
Third-party carrier delivery is a shipment contract, not a destination contract. Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the goods are handed to the carrier at our or the supplier’s shipping point, whether we or you selected the carrier and whether freight is prepaid, passed through, included in the price, or described as “free shipping.” Freight is transportation, not insurance. We do not assume the carrier’s liability, and carrier delay after handoff is not our breach unless we expressly guaranteed delivery in writing.
For store pickup, risk transfers when you or your authorized person takes possession. For delivery in a vehicle operated or controlled by us, risk transfers when you take possession at the agreed location. Business purchases remain subject to the B2B Terms and the accepted quote. For business purchases, title remains with us until payment in full even if risk transfers earlier, to the extent law permits.
Inspect shipments promptly. Note visible damage or shortage on the carrier record, photograph it, and retain the goods, packaging, and shipping documents. Report the claim directly to the carrier promptly. Where risk has transferred, the carrier claim is your responsibility. If only the shipper may file, we may choose to submit a timely, properly documented claim; doing so does not make us responsible for the loss or guarantee recovery.
An unjustified refusal may result in return freight, redelivery, storage, handling, restocking or other charges.
9. Returns, Cancellations, and Refunds
Our current Refund Policy explains the ordinary return process and exclusions. Our Shipping Policy explains available delivery methods and restrictions. These policies form part of these Terms, but these Terms control if there is a conflict.
Eligible unused goods are generally returnable within the period stated in the Refund Policy, with proof of purchase and in the required condition. Contact us before shipping a return. Return freight and any disclosed restocking charge depend on the reason for the return and applicable law.
Non-Returnable Goods include; custom, cut, fabricated, modified, mixed or tinted products; supplier special orders; opened paints, resins, chemicals, food-contact products, hazardous or flammable goods, gases, clearance goods, and gift cards, as described in the Refund Policy. Safety, contamination, transport, and supplier restrictions may also prevent a return.
Approved refunds are normally issued to the original payment method, subject to applicable law and payment-provider processing times. If the original card or account has expired, been replaced, closed, or is otherwise unavailable, you must contact the issuing bank or payment provider to arrange receipt of the funds. We cannot redirect a processed refund to another card or account or control how the issuing bank handles it. We may provide confirmation that the refund was processed, but you are responsible for resolving receipt of the funds with your bank or payment provider.
10. Industrial, Hazardous, and Regulated products
We sell industrial products that may require specialized knowledge, training, licensing, protective equipment, ventilation, workplace controls, permits, or suitable facilities. Before purchasing or using a product, you must review its label, SDS, TDS, manufacturer instructions, legal restrictions, and other supplied documentation.
By purchasing a product, you represent and certify that you—or the person responsible for its use—are properly trained, qualified, equipped, and legally authorized to purchase, transport, store, handle, mix, apply, install, resell, and dispose of it. You are solely responsible for determining whether the product, workplace, equipment, process, and intended use are safe, lawful, and suitable. We may require a written or electronic certification of these matters before completing a sale.
We do not assess, verify, supervise, or certify your training, qualifications, facilities, equipment, intended use, or legal compliance unless applicable law expressly requires us to do so. Requesting or accepting identification, an acknowledgement, or a customer certification does not mean that we have investigated or approved your competence, application, worksite, or compliance.
For certain products, quantities, transactions, destinations, or circumstances, we may require valid government-issued identification before completing the sale. This may apply particularly when the purchaser is not buying through a verified GoIndustrial B2B Wholesale account. We may verify the identification and record limited identification details, or retain a copy where reasonably necessary and legally permitted, for age or identity verification, fraud prevention, product stewardship, regulatory compliance, transaction security, or another lawful business purpose. We handle this information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law. If you decline or cannot provide satisfactory identification or certification when requested, we may refuse or cancel the transaction.
Keep products secure and away from children and unauthorized persons. Do not remove labels, disregard warnings, alter safety equipment, or use a product contrary to its documentation or applicable law. Employers, contractors, institutions, industrial users, and resellers remain responsible for their own workplace-safety, employee-training, stewardship, transportation, recordkeeping, resale, and disposal obligations.
We may refuse or restrict any sale, quantity, customer, destination, shipping method, return, or intended use for safety, compliance, fraud prevention, insurance, supplier-policy, or other legitimate business reasons.
We cooperate with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, other police services, regulators, courts, and competent government authorities in response to lawful requests, valid legal process, and circumstances in which disclosure is required or permitted by law. We may preserve and disclose transaction, account, identification, shipping, and related records to the extent legally authorized or required. Nothing in these Terms requires us to notify you of a request, investigation, preservation requirement, or disclosure when notice is prohibited by law or could lawfully be withheld.
In an emergency, follow the product documentation and contact emergency services or the appropriate poison-control resource. Our website and staff do not provide emergency, occupational-safety, engineering, or other regulated professional advice.
11. Prohibited Uses
You must not purchase, use, install, modify, resell, export, transport, store, or dispose of a product or use our services in a way that:
- violates law, sanctions, export controls, import rules, permits, codes, or regulatory restrictions;
- conflicts with a mandatory label, warning, SDS, TDS, or manufacturer instruction;
- creates an unreasonable health, safety, property, or environmental risk;
- infringes intellectual property or directs us to reproduce material you have no right to use;
- involves fraud, diversion, unlawful resale, misrepresentation, or circumvention of a sales restriction; or
- is for a prohibited application we identified before acceptance.
You are responsible for obtaining destination, end-use, import, export, installation, and operating approvals assigned to you by law or the order documents.
12. Warranties and Problems with an Order
Manufacturer and resale products
Many products are made by third parties and may include a manufacturer’s written warranty. That warranty is provided by the manufacturer on its terms. We may reasonably assist with a claim, but we do not control the manufacturer’s decision. These Terms do not create an additional written product warranty or remove any warranty or seller obligation imposed by law.
GoIndustrial™, Redco™, and other house-brand products
If we provide a separate written limited warranty, it will state its period, coverage, and claim process. Otherwise, a house-brand product should substantially conform to the published or accepted specifications at delivery, allowing for disclosed tolerances and normal manufacturing variation. We do not guarantee suitability for an application we did not approve in writing.
Fabricated goods and services
We will perform accepted fabrication and services with reasonable care and in a good and workmanlike manner, and the result will substantially conform to the accepted written specifications, general trade standards and be subject to agreed tolerances. If it does not, tell us promptly and give us a reasonable opportunity to inspect and, where appropriate, correct the affected work.
We are not responsible for a problem caused by inaccurate customer measurements or designs, hidden defects in customer materials, misuse, improper storage, incompatible materials, incorrect mixing, unauthorized modification, improper installation, neglect, inadequate maintenance, or failure to follow instructions, to the extent that cause produced the problem.
Reporting an issue
Report any issue promptly. Do not wait until the applicable return, warranty, or claim period has expired, as we may then be unable to assist. Take clear photographs and describe the problem, including your order or invoice number, by email or through our website chat. Keep the goods, packaging, and related documents until we advise you otherwise.
13. Our Responsibility To You
We are not responsible for loss caused by your misuse, inaccurate specifications, failure to follow instructions, unauthorized alteration, unsuitable installation, or any matter outside our reasonable control.
To the extent law permits for a consumer transaction, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential business loss, lost profit, lost production, or business interruption arising from a purchase made primarily for business purposes. Business customers are subject to the more detailed exclusions and liability cap in the B2B Terms when incorporated.
Website content and free website tools are provided for general information and convenience. We are not responsible for loss arising solely from reliance on, interruption of, or inability to use free website content or tools.
14. Privacy and third-party services
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Payment processors, carriers, manufacturers, platform providers, and other service providers may process information under their own notices and legal duties.
Links or integrations may take you to a third-party service. We do not control its availability, content, terms, privacy practices, or products merely because we link to it.
15. Changes, Suspension, and Termination
We may update these Terms prospectively to reflect legal, operational, security, or service changes. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and give additional notice where required. A change does not retroactively alter an accepted order unless you agree or law requires it.
You may stop using the website at any time. We may suspend or terminate website access for a material breach, fraud, security threat, unsafe conduct, or legal requirement. Provisions that reasonably need to continue—such as payment obligations, intellectual property, limits of responsibility, and dispute terms—survive.
16. Questions and Disputes
Please contact us first. We want a fair chance to understand and resolve the problem.
Terms and transactions with the seller are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of British Columbia have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
These Terms do not require arbitration and do not waive participation in a class proceeding. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to a business sale; consumer rights are unaffected.
17. General terms
If one part of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent required, and the rest will continue. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver. We may assign these Terms as part of a financing, corporate reorganization, merger, or sale of the relevant business. You may not assign an order where doing so materially increases our risk without our consent.
These Terms, the accepted order documents, and incorporated policies are the complete agreement about their subject. Headings and the Key Points are for clarity. “Including” means including without limitation. Electronic records and signatures may be used where law permits. We will provide a retainable copy of an online consumer contract as required by applicable law.
