The TASK™ line is a specialty range of performance urethane casting resins offering superior physical properties compared to Smooth‑Cast™ general‑purpose casting resins. TASK™ materials feature convenient mix ratios by volume (pbv) or weight (pbw), low viscosity, high tensile and flexural strength, and high flexural modulus. Select formulations offer additional performance characteristics such as flame resistance, high temperature resistance, and very high impact resistance.

TASK™ 2 and TASK™ 3:
Low-viscosity, fast-curing performance casting resins developed specifically for rapid prototyping applications. These materials cure to a bright white color and were formulated to deliver higher physical performance compared to Smooth‑Cast™ 300 Series general-purpose casting resins. Both systems feature low viscosity for easy pouring and a convenient 1:1 mix ratio by volume.

TASK™ 4:
A unique urethane casting resin designed to deliver exceptional strength when cast in ultra-thin sections ranging from 0.03” to 0.50” (0.075 cm to 1.27 cm). TASK™ 4 exhibits very low shrinkage, contributing to excellent dimensional accuracy. These properties have made it a preferred material among precision prototype and design professionals worldwide.

TASK™ 5 and TASK™ 6:
Low-cost, high-performance urethane casting resins formulated for ease of use and reliable results. Vacuum degassing is not required, and both products offer a convenient 1A:1B mix ratio by volume. The primary differences between TASK™ 5 and TASK™ 6 are pot life and demold time, allowing flexibility based on production requirements.

TASK™ 7 Flame Out™:
A low-viscosity, fast-setting, flame-rated urethane casting resin that meets UL 94 V‑0 requirements for flame resistance. TASK™ 7 Flame Out™ is formulated without mercury, TDI, or MOCA and features a simple 1:1 mix ratio by volume.

TASK™ 8:
A heat-resistant urethane casting resin made specifically for prototyping and casting applications requiring thermal resistance of up to 263°F (129°C). Heat curing is required to achieve optimal heat-resistant performance. The system features a 1:1 mix ratio by volume and low viscosity for easy casting.

TASK™ 9 ColorMatch:
A high-performance urethane casting resin featuring very high compressive strength and tensile strength. TASK™ 9 cures to a clear amber color, making it easy to color using compatible SO‑Strong™, UVO™, or IGNITE™ colorants.

TASK™ 11:
A semi-rigid urethane casting resin that is strong and very tough. Originally developed for high-impact tooling, TASK™ 11 also offers good abrasion resistance and chemical resistance, making it suitable for a variety of industrial applications. This product is suitable for select FDA/USDA applications involving dry food contact only.

TASK™ 12:
A semi-rigid urethane resin offering extraordinary handling strength and impact resistance. It is used for a variety of industrial applications, including the production of prototype models, high-impact parts, and tools. This product is intended for industrial use only.

TASK™ 13 and TASK™ 14:
Semi-rigid black urethane casting resins designed for industrial applications requiring durability and impact resistance. These materials have a Shore hardness of 50D and are intended for professional use. For best results, TASK™ 13 and TASK™ 14 should not be cast into platinum‑cure (addition‑cure) silicone molds.

TASK™ 15:
A high-performance urethane casting resin featuring a gradual cure profile, making it suitable for rotational casting processes used to create hollow parts. TASK™ 15 delivers very high impact strength, even when cast in thin-wall sections.

TASK™ 16:
A tough urethane elastomer offering very high tear strength, impact resistance, and wear resistance. This material provides a balance of durability and flexibility and is classified as an 80A / 30D urethane elastomer.
