Dalen rotating-head owl decoy, model RHO-4, is an 18-inch outdoor visual bird deterrent shaped like a great horned owl. The head can rotate through 360 degrees.
Position the decoy where birds can see it and move it regularly: Dalen notes that animals can become accustomed to an owl left in one place. It is a deterrent, not a guarantee that birds will stay away.
