It is said that "the objective of a well-built BMX track is one that flows well, is fun to ride and safe but challenging for all types of riders." Operators also want a track that is durable, low-maintenance and hassle-free. Untreated BMX tracks tend to soften when exposed to rain and become susceptible to ruts, which can increase the risk to riders, especially while racing at fast speeds. 

TrackTack® is highly effective at binding soil particles together, creating a solid, flexible mass that is highly resistant to water and wear. This treatment prevents the track from becoming soft or muddy, which is particularly important for outdoor tracks exposed to the elements. It also prevents wind-blown dust and micro-erosion from changing the track surface, making it last longer between treatments.

TrackTack™ can be used as either a seal-coat or as the binder in a slurry-coat system, such as with clay or red brick dust. 

What is TrackTack™ 

TrackTack™ is a biodegradable and non-toxic soil stabilizer & tackifier which has been used as a key solution to address erosion, stabilization, and dust-control concerns. Established in bulk handling, agricultural, municipal, commercial, and residential applications to prevent the effects of water and wind erosion and vehicle traffic, here’s how it helps:

·       Environmental Protection: TrackTack™ acts as a barrier, preventing dust and soil erosion from migrating or contaminating into unwanted areas. In the case of commercial/agricultural, can prevent dust, dry soil, or other material particulate of concern from being kicked-up and blown into unwanted areas, thereby mitigating further contamination.

·       Soil Tackification: TrackTack™ soaks into the soil and binds it in a way that resists water erosion due to rainfall and runoff. This prevents the incontrollable loss of material stockpiles, embankments, slopes, or other critical terrain features while retaining earthworks against further damage. It can be used in light concentrations for dust-control against wind erosion and in heavier concentrations will penetrate into the soil to be used as a structural stabilizer of dirt & gravel roads, culverts penetrations or earthen berms and slopes. TrackTack™ is especially effective at controlling erosion near sensitive ponds, streams and other water control features.

·       Visual Confirmation: Once applied, TrackTack™ normally formulated to dry clear but pigments may be added upon request to identify treated areas and provide a clear visual indicator of its coverage.
