Product information
Norseman Drill & Tool Type 183-AG Chipfree™ drill bits are designed for drilling acrylic, plastic and laminate. Their Super Chipfree™ point is ground at 60° for gradual penetration to help reduce cracking and chipping. The special 0° rake angle helps prevent the bit from grabbing as it breaks through the material.
The Norseman Type 183-AG's 60° point and 0° rake fall within ACRYLITE's 60°–90° point and 0°–4° rake ranges. ACRYLITE generally recommends 90° and notes 60° especially for holes 1/2 in and larger.
